Peter Zorn

Co-founder and since the beginning chairman of the board of the Werkleitz Gesellschaft e.V., on the management board of the Werkleitz Biennale / Werkleitz Festival, initiator of the European Media Artists in Residence Exchange (EMARE since 1995), 2002 foundation of the company Worklights Media Production GmbH, executive producer, since 2011 head of the Werkleitz Professional Media Master Class (PMMC), since 2018 manager of the European Media Art Platform (EMAP). He lives and works as a freelance cultural producer and curator in Werkleitz and Halle (Saale). 

Andreas Nickl

Actor, author, director from Berlin. 


Born in Munich in 1967. Stayed until high school graduation. 
Civilian service in a closed ward of the Düsseldorf psychiatric hospital.

Sailor on a sailing yacht between Amsterdam and Havana. Acting school in Bochum until graduation in 1992. Lives in Berlin with his wife and three sons.

Member of the German Film Academy.

Anne Könnig

She was the director of the Backup_festival at Bauhaus-University Weimar for 10 years. In recognition of her work, she and her colleague Juliane Fuchs were awarded the Bauhaus University Weimar Teaching Prize in 2016.

Having also worked at Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk and Film e.V. Jena now works as an employee of the Film Commission of Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM) at Studiopark Kindermedienzentrum (KMZ) in Erfurt, acting as the field office for Thuringia.

Due to her versatile interest in film, international art and culture, she can often be found in exhibitions such as her favorite gallery ACC Weimar. Under the pseudonym Miss Grainy she is artistically active herself.

Leonie Minor

She worked as a production and assistant director in Cologne and studied film production at the DFFB in Berlin. 

She currently works as a producer, writer and director. Her films were shown at the Zurich Film Festival, the Hofer International Film Festival and the InterFilm Berlin. 

She is a scholarship holder of the Academy for Children’s Media and is currently writing a book for young people.

Jörn Hintzer

Prof.  Jörn Hintzer is teaching cross-media/moving images at the Bauhaus_University Weimar since 2019. Together with his colleague Prof. Jakob Hüfner he also works under the Berlin label Datenstrudel on films, contributions for TV and YT, productions for theater stages and passing trains. Playing with the media – from smartphones to cinema – he always finds the right story.

His films have been selected and received numerous prizes and awards from several national and international film festivals.

Mohammad Ali Talebi

he is an Iranian film director, screenwriter and producer who has been regarded as one of the best filmmakers who has contributed substantially and consistently to children and youth cinema. He has wide range of experience in cinematic forms and film genres. His productions have played a great role in securing an important position for Iranian Cinema and have earned its well-respected global recognition. His films have been selected and received many prizes and awards from numerous international film festivals such as Berlin, San Francisco, Chicago, Sundance, New York, Montreal, Amsterdam, Vienna, London, Toronto, Tokyo, Bangkok, South Korea, France, Japan, India, Sydney, Greece, Zlin and Poland.
