Peter Zorn's varied professional career has made him a pivotal figure in the European media arts scene. As a co-founder and chairman of the board of Werkleitz Gesellschaft e.V., and a driving force behind the Werkleitz Biennale / Werkleitz Festival, his influence is widely recognized. Peter's initiatives include the European Media Artists in Residence Exchange, co-founding Worklights Media Production GmbH, and serving as an executive producer and head of the Werkleitz Professional Media Master Class (PMMC). He also manages the European Media Art Platform (EMAP). Currently, Peter lives and works as a freelance cultural producer and curator in Werkleitz and Halle (Saale), continuing to shape the future of media arts.

Andreas Nickl

Andreas Nickl's journey into the arts began after his civilian service in Düsseldorf and a unique stint as a sailor on a yacht between Amsterdam and Havana. His formal training took place at the drama school in Bochum, where he graduated with a diploma. Now a member of the German Film Academy, Andreas resides in Berlin with his wife and three sons. His rich background in drama and his active participation in the film community make him an invaluable addition to our jury.

Anne Könnig

Anne Könnig holds a special place in the cultural fabric of Weimar, having directed the Backup Festival at the Bauhaus University for a decade. Her exemplary work earned her and her colleague Juliane Fuchs the Bauhaus University Weimar Teaching Prize in 2016. Beyond her contributions to the festival, Anne has also worked with Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk and Film e.V. Jena. Currently, she serves as an employee of the Film Commission of the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM) at the Studiopark Children's Media Centre (KMZ).
