Description
Two childhood friends, who have drifted towards opposite worldviews, reunite after a long time. One has become a mother, while the other has advanced in her career. Through the characters, a perspective is offered on individuals caught in the deadlock of intertwined gender roles and societal expectations.
Director statement
Friendships among women have always been a fascinating subject for me. There's a surprising balance where we can be both teammates and rivals at the same time. We can even discover what we do or don't want in life by comparing ourselves to each other.
Those days when we take a break from the hustle and bustle of our lives and reunite with our childhood friends actually create a space for us to look within ourselves. That's why in my film, I chose to narrate just one day when two old friends meet after a long time. Due to my limited budget, I shot the film in just one day.
